This is the only issue I have had with my 07' - hard as hell to tell if the filter is on correctly. Do you think the aluminum cage would correct?

We shall see.
GoFasters will have these kits in stock in a few weeks.

Rated a 10!

Got my Twin Air kit yesterday. Comes with a pre-oiled filter and the filter cage.
The fit is a night and day difference than the stock cage.

The stock cage flops around, while the Twin Air cage is a tight/snug fit into the air boot opening. You can feel it pop in when intalling.
The pins are the same length as the stock cage, so there are no bottoming issues within the intak boot.
In my opinion, this IS a must do update for your bike.

Damn there goes another $150 on my bike!;)

It's $124. Cheaper than a top end. No?:D

Gasgasman I got a couple of questions:
Did you buy the kit directly from Twin Air or does Go Fasters now have them in stock?
And does the stock filter fit over the new cage or do I have to buy a second filter for a spare?

Thanks,
John

John.

GoFasters has them in stock, that's where I bought mine.
As far as I know, they are the only dealers with them in the US.

The stock filter will fit, you just have to make holes for the Twin Air filter cage to fit.

Personally, I would not reuse a fiter more than ten times. It gets impossible to wash all the dirt out that is impregnated in the filter.

Thanks for the info Girard,
I'll have to call Gofasters next week and order myself my new Xmas present.

Girard,

Could you post a close up photo of the new cage, thanks.

Awww, Glenn.
You're gonna make me take it back out?:D

I'll take some shots tomorrow.
