I'll investigate tomorrow Jake, checked on the Scalvini today- retails for $350USD but manufacturer just went on vacation for the month and US importer has only 2012 GG in stock right now :-(

Thanks Fred,

Just got an email back from Italy myself saying that they're on holidays until end of the month! Living the dream eh!

LOL The Us importer said that Mark @ GoFasters may have some of the Scalvinis in stock but I didn't get a chance to call him

Are they a heavier gauge pipe like OEM or paper thin like the old Messicos?

My experience with the cone pipes (i.e. Scalvini) is that they are way less prone to denting or damage because of the multi seam construction. I didn't ask the gauge of material though. I'll find out on the Arrow also but the Arrow is tucked up so high that it should be 'out of the way' damage resistant

I like to have a spare pipe, but with a Hyde, it has to be the same bend or very close to OEM.

That won't apply to the Arrow for sure, Scalvini is a bit more tucked than the stocker also I think. I have a DEP on the bike now and can't find a protector, I have the stock GG pipe but it is dented pretty good. '12s are different though right?

At this time I'm waiting on info, Arrow distributor will get back with me Monday??? on wall gauge. Scalvini says "not super heavy but certainly not light gauge" Scalvini Mfg. is on holiday so no way to get official #s till end of August. Both pipes retail for @ $350 each

Nice work Fred.

I was wondering if the Arrow may actually be prone to taking more impact on the side. Ie if it makes up volume under the RH rad. This is the side my bike often falls on for whatever reason :)
