I think it's related to the engine being Yamaha and they don't authorize GG to have it in the US market .
|
Yep, Yamaha won't let GasGas sell their motors in North America. I don't blame them, but let's be real, Gas Gas isn't a sales threat to anyone's market share.....
|
They won't bring them in even if they could. they could never get rid of the 4 strokes in Canada or the US when they were still bringing them in a few years back. Small market only a few die hards want them.

250
Wasn't the 250 yamaha bike here?I never saw one course i've never seen many gassers but i thought they were here
|
There was one here that was personally brought over by a racer on the east coast and then he had it up for sale(for big cash) the importer never brought them in

Yes that's what I know of it as well we had a few in 2010 when I bought my Nambo and they couldn't give them away that was the last year I seen one. Is like to try one with the new yamaha motor though I bet it rips |
I have a 2011 and after getting things sorted from the previous owner it is pretty special...Not going to sell my 300 or anything, but it is pretty nice.

At least they are going to try and sell it and it's not just a one off for publicity. It is drop dead sexy.
Can you imagine the number of bugs amongst all those different components??? |
