It could be related to battery trouble. Newer bikes (and probably the 18s) have a DC powered CDI, so low voltage could result in ignition trouble. A technician would have to verify that the charging system can keep up with whatever load is on the battery.
A fresh battery and working charging system should have no problem running the bike if you are only kickstarting it. |
Have a call in tomorrow with some GasGas folks and my local dealer. May actually be getting traction. Going to drop my bike off at the dealer before work in the morning so it's there for the call.
