GasGasman...I was only kididng.......about leaving work and head'in east bound! Thanks for the directions....those of you that ARE GOING, while the rest of us wish we could go!! HAVE A GREAT TIME!!!!! Can't wait to hear about the bikes!!!

P.S Will someone take some nice shots...I need a new background for my computer!

The empty hole leads to the spark plug tube. Lets air in/out to equalise the pressure in what would otherwise be a blind hole. It also allows any bike washing water sprayed in there out.
The oil to the head is fed up that tube the back of the engine and the bolt in front is there to "check" for oil flow after changing if its the same as the 03 450 I had.
See it has DOT Michelins on it.....does that mean it has a chance of being road legal somewhere in this country?

Its beautiful, and I think it will be an awesome bike to those who understand less is more in a lot of cases. My only gripe about the Yamaha 250F is its a bit tall, and of course this will feel perfect to us.

The pedal arm just has a non-folding tip thats adjustable in position. I suspect the pivot is the same, but would be a good upgrade.

The '07+ WR has the same oil tank setup as the YZ, (no oil in aluminum frame).

Steve, did it come with the 300 kit? What kit is it, the Athena?

Berkyboy 08-20-2009 10:12 AM

The 300 kit did not come with this bike but will be installed as soon as it gets here. Not sure whose kit it will be but should we know by the dealer show.

Hot damn! Awesome!

What's the price? I may have to get it but with a 300 kit. You have financing? Where do I sign? Shhh don't tell the wife. :D

Yes that thing looks sweet. Kudos to the designers at GG.

I'd be very interested in test riding one. Gonna have one at either of the remaining trail rides by chance?? There are two left ya know... :D hint - hint...

What did you come up with for wet weight?

Think it's coincidence that the Gas Gas kick lever fits?

I'll bet its close to the Yamaha WR. I'll also bet that it FEELS lighter, because the WR is tall. I like the WR, its a very neutral planted feeling bike, no bad habits. The GG frame should do a good job of hiding the weight.
