I know people hate to hear it, but my Berg is in my humble opinion better in every possible sense than my GasGas was. I only continue to frequent this site because of the good folks posting on it & to recieve the occasional flogging about going to the dark side. Im in no way saying the GasGas is a bad product, and I respect wanting to own something a bit different (to each thier own), but to write off a product becuase it is an off-shoot of KTM is RIDICULOUS!! Let the flogging commence....... |
I love my buddies te 250 it's an awesome bike, suspension however isn't even close to ttx, even after the 4cs was worked over my ttx cartridges are a noticeably BIG improvement. What I'm trying to say is most of these bikes have there strengths and weaknesses it's just what you prefer and if that's another brand great. I'm dying to try the new beta and I absolutely love the 13 ktm 200. If I was a little smaller I'd have one. In my opinion a much better bike all around than the 13 200 gasser ridden back to back but there again a lot will disagree because they were very different bikes.

But there isn't any improvements on this right? Just a straight up rebadge. At least the Berg had some different stuff on it.
I would by one if KTM completely redesigned it, it was awesome, and it wasn't a KTMberg. However, I wouldn't buy one in it's current state. Just a KTM with Husky stickers. |
I believe this bike is pretty much a rebadge. Current Husaberg soon to be Husqy dealers are sticking to thier story that the new Husqvarna line will be an even further departure from KTM than Husaberg was last couple of years (although I agree it was a slight departure). They will continue to focus on enduro specific models. Im pretty excited to see the 2015's!
Im looking/hoping for WP/PDS suspended, direct injected, carbon sub framed 215 lbs 2T woods rocket. :D |
Yeah Yeah.
No need for the attitude. I'll be exploring all the avenues when its time to buy a new bike. Maybe a Sherco, maybe a Beta, maybe even a Husahtmky.. A lot of brands in the game at the moment, and all making very decent offerings. Nothing to be gained by bagging gas gas. IMO the people who get on with KTM and find that the ergos work for them will likely get along just fine with the 'new' husky. After all its just another ktm now. Fit and finish will be great, and is worlds ahead of the Gasser but there is more to a bike than just that. Those that loved husky will likely be looking elsewhere. |
I'm still more fired up about the 2 stroke series than this KTM "Badger".:D
So how many diff manufacturers will be on the line come first race? How many actually have MX bikes? Gas Gas? KTM Husky TM Fantic? Sherco? Beta? Yamaha? Do they big bore the YZ? They are the only Jap OEM to stand to benefit. Who else? |
Ossa??? I havent heard much about this, the pipe orientation looks smart.
