I'd like to compare my wooded out 05 yz250 to the new GG300's to see if it would be worth selling my bike and spending 4-5 grand more to get one. With today's times and depreciation of a dirt bike a test ride would help make that decision a lot easier. KTM's are out.. I don't want to be orange like 90% of the guys out there..

Thanks...

You can ride my Nambo after Motorhead befor the IN national. I think you willlove the bike!

Gabriel Racing in Worchester, Mass has one on the floor. We have two more in the warehouse.

John O1: YES we feel good about 2012!:D
Flat 4: It's been fun getting the word out and the guys on this site have been a huge help.
Troy: No news on a 150 and I'm a little worried about bringing the 125s again. Sales on the 11's have been slow. We will get a 200.
GMP and others concerned about the filter: The one Rod and I were shown at the factory was foam. Look like they may have changed to another design. Remember this is not a conventional airbox. It is a cleaner box than conventional boxes. They have been using this design on the Randonne for several months now and I trust them to do this correctly. I will ask Txomin about the changes and how it works. Maybe I can get pics of a disassembled airbox.

Pretty impressive ride at the Mudslinger!

Clay,

I know the factory 152 is the preferred way, but could Spain be persuaded to offer factory 144 kit using the bore only? Seems like it would be a relatively minor R&D task, and could help open up the small bore market here. Just a thought.

Congrats on your ride! Thats tough even for the guys who live there. The Nambo's suspension obviously worked well, was it stock?

Thanks Clay appreciate it. If all goes well we will be there in time to take you up on the offer. From riding with motorhead for a while I am not worried about the common things people try to say "You can't get any parts for those bikes, you will have to wait forever if it breaks". Shoot most of the time he can go right into Halls and get his parts right there. For my bike at the local Yamaha dealer I have to order almost everything. No common parts on hand.. Hard to understand since the yz motor is basically the same since 99 and , except for the frame change in 05 the parts span is almost 10 years..

Thanks...

Clay,
I'll be more than happy to do the R&D on the 144 kit :D ....

I am going to do my top end this week and I'm gonna see how close a YZ125 sleeve will get to fitting the GG125...

If you're looking for a 125, I'm seriously considering selling mine so I can get a new 2012 GG250...

I know the Europeans look at the 144/150 as an odd bike. It doesn't fit FIM E1(100-125cc) or E2(175-250cc) rules. The 200 does fit the E2 class, so it's an obvious displacement choice. That said.... the extra displacement on a 125 to 144 makes a big difference. When I've ridden a KTM 200, it never seems like a 125 on steroids, it seems like a weird, pipey 250. I've never ridden a GG 200, but have read they are even more like a small bore 250.

I've had two Husky 125's and added a 144 kit to my '09. My 144 is the perfect tiddler on steroids, keeping all the good attributes of the 125 with more power everywhere. Husky would always seem to have too many 125's leftover, but sold the WR150 out almost instantly. The factory 144 kit for 125's was Husky's most anticipated performance part in a long time. This year Husky is going to split the difference and 125's will come with the 144 kit in the crate. Gas Gas could possibly do the same thing in the future. I know I'd already have an '11 Gas Gas 150 in the garage if it was availible.
