A new basket from Rekluse will fix the clutch squawk and vibration for the most part. Definitely an oil flow problem IMO. The new basket must pick the oil up much better. The clutch would be pretty dry between the plates before the new basket.

I had a quick look at my 06 EC200 clutch today. The cover has a "Mg" preceeding the cast in part number, so I guess the magnesium cover is nothing new.
