The only problem with cutting down a rotor, is having to do it every time you need to replace it.
I did some measuring and it looked like I could plug weld the original bolt hole in the caliper bracket, space it out slightly, and drill/tap a new hole. That would have allowed me to run the existing rotor, caliper, and bracket. That being said, replacing the existing bracket with the YZ bracket was super simple, kept everything in line and centered. |
