2011 plastics Crossover?

Anyone know what if any crossover there is for 2011 plastics?
I need a front fender for an 2011 300
Gofasters advertises them for $127 :(

Mick 12-17-2011 05:02 PM

Found this: http://www.motorcycle-superstore.com...nt-Fender.aspx

Polisport is showing a complete kit on their website for the 2011's.

I just bought an 11 myself and need to find plastics as well.

There is a dealer in California that carries Polisport...they might be able to get the kit. I'll have to give them a call.

EDIT: Just tried calling, they are closed today, I'll give them a ring on Monday.

Ride PG has graphics too...

Call Gofasters it is most likely a typo

MrBlah 12-17-2011 07:38 PM

if it is a typo, they have similar typo's on all the plastic for the 2011's, crazy high prices on them

noobi 12-17-2011 09:57 PM

2010 crf 250 front guard goes on without too much drama. I think you have to oval either the front or back holes a bit. You should be able to find one of those cheap enough.

kdxtreme 12-18-2011 12:27 AM

the plastic they list has factory graphics on them

Many of the parts prices are listed ridiculous expensive, and should be corrected. A new prospective GG customer could be scared orange by checking spares cost. I need a top end kit, now I know from owning GGs for years that they can be had for less than $150 easy, and still can. Why are they listed for over $300 on the GF site? Seriously, its not doing anyone any good.

ScottyR 12-18-2011 11:42 AM

The plastic for a Gasser is as cheap as any other bike today.

The graphics on the other hand are grossly priced. Just buy the bare plastic and put a graphics kit on them. PG makes some pretty nice kits for the Gassers and HBD graphics in Florida is getting onboard with GG templates now.

Pricing issues

The plastics with stickers (which is what GasGas Spain sells) is expensive but we have lowered the pricing, but our website uploader hasn't completed the changes yet. I expect it may be a week or two more before the changes are shown, as with a variety of other prices on parts. Sorry for the long delay, it isn't as easy as a complete one click up load.

Plastics without graphics (we import from Polisport) are considerably less expensive, please contact your local dealer for pricing and fitment.

Also, our microfiche program should be fixed within a month as well, to include 2007-08 bikes with all plastic fitments both graphic and non graphic as well as having the 2012 product online.

These are the main reasons I am sitting here in Girona Spain waiting to be at the factory the next 2 days. To get better information and better pricing for everyone from ourselves, to the dealer, to the customer.

And the warm weather doesn't hurt either.. a bit warmer than minnesota I would assume this time of the year??

MrBlah 12-18-2011 02:11 PM

We stock GasGas (OE Polisport) bare plastic, as well as radiator shroud graphics. I can pop a front fender (or rear w sidepanels for that matter) in the brown truck tomorrow. PM me.

thanks, have a full spare set already with PG graphics, and I cant even find the graphics I have on pg's site

I'm just worried about replacements, I've already started to tear up one shroud

plastic kits

I have negotiated new package plastic kit prices with GG so we don't have to order containers at a time direct from Polisport. By mid Feb we will have black, white, and the red/white kits available for 2010-11 bikes full retail of $225. This kit will include front/rear fenders, airbox pieces, fork guards, and shrouds.

There is also going to be a complete kit to convert 2001-06 bikes into 2010-11 style bikes ESTIMATED Retail will be around $700. Will include new style subframe, new gas tank, new seat, new rear airbox panel, and complete plastics kit! This is a huge discount, over $250 cheaper.

Check your local dealer for arrival dates

mattholew 12-20-2011 07:54 AM

The upgrade kit sound good. I may pick one up from you guys once I get my suspension sorted.

Mark Berg - CPD 12-20-2011 09:45 AM

orders

Dealers will have first option at the kits for about 3 months. We will be taking orders from dealers the first week in January to judge how many we should be stocking.

Awesome, can there e-mail notification for us who want the kits or just check back with you guys in February? Would you know if Polisport is going to make impregnated graphics for the GG's like they do for other brands?

Is a 2011 Honda CRF front fender the same? Looks awfully similar.

We really need to improve the parts crossover in this site. Of course, with tips to fit the parts.

GoFasters sell a bracket to allow the crf front plate to fit onto the gasgas. Im not sure how it works, but I just bodged up some mounting gear to fit the plate on my bike, it hasn't come off yet.
I don't know of any other plastics that will cross over sorry, you could kind of make any front fender and number board combo fit if you wanted to, just depends how badly you want to. On older models, some kx plastics crossed over, but not on the newer GGs.
There are a fair amount of other parts which crossover though.

have heard of those... prolly what i should have done.. bought the braket kit for mine.. it worked perfect, kinda pricy, but i could not make one for it either.. all the holes in the clamps lined up great.. had to drill 2 holes in the flat part of the fender, but it all lined up there also..

stainlesscycle 12-27-2011 03:39 PM

i couldn't justify the bracket price. zip ties work just fine. got the ratty winter hand thingies on it..

Slap some black exhaust paint on it, then looks nice and new and easy to clean.

Rick 01-09-2012 08:12 PM

Anyone use Racetech plastics?

Found this while looking for plastic kits.

http://www.motomerlin.org.uk/product...0-11_ggeckit10

Anyone know if Polisport is going to make IPD plastic for the 2011 gassers?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2dcvw...eature=related

These stock decals aren't holding up very well...

Moto7man 03-28-2012 09:40 PM

Here is a link to the Racetech catalog with complete plastic kits for GasGas:
