Hey guys its Hammer Time again on 11/3-4. We had a great time last year. Several H Cams posted.

I'll be there!

Great Ed, bring some NETRA buddys. Jim, myself, and Steve will be there. I'm trying to coax my brother out of retirement and put him on my '07 as well. Should be a good time! Hope its warmer at night than last year though.

I've been talking it up. I'm sure my buddy that just moved to MD will be coming.

Hey wimpy, I'll also be in Catawissa for turkey day. I'm planning to ride with Cruiser when I'm out there.

I'll probably be in Ct for Turkey day, look me up at Hammer I'll probably be the only on on a 13!:)

I'm jealous! Will do. I plan to travel down on Friday and set up shop with Steve.

I'm not sure if I'm going the full weekend or not, but definately Sunday. Will be racing almost every weekend prior. Steve and Ed, let me know if you guys ride in PA over Thanksgiving Day weekend, I'd like to go too. Last race in series is 11/17.

I'm in for the whole weekend will be down late friday and will be camping at the Hampton Inn.

I'm going to think about that one too. Camper is a lot of work for me for just one night. Last year was cold as hell too, have heat but its loud and kicks on often. Maybe better to just hang by the fire, have a couple cold ones, then hit the hotel.

Sounds like a great idea, but I have no way to secure my bike so camp it is.

Well lets just stay in touch about this, if the weather looks iffy its hotel for sure. I have an open trailer with a rear gate that I back up to something or another vehicle, and plenty of cable locks. We could always request ground floor rooms and roll 'em in!:D Been done many times the night before Sandy Lane in March. Tire changes while watching the tube and cleaning filters in the bathroom sink.:eek:

I'll have an enclosed trailer that i will be leaving at the start. I got three guys with me but we could probably get a few more bikes fot the over night in it. Any one going to Scrub Pine?

This has never been a big deal. I should have room for one more bike on the trailer, then Ed could just park close behind me. He could also leave his bike at the start with Steve.

You could leave your bike with mine.. I'll be camping from friday night on.. got friday off of work so going down during the day so I can set up in the light. And Rob,, a 13? I saw your pic on Matto's FB page.. looks good! I even have monday off.. have to find out if it be ok to stay over sunday night so I can ride the whole day and not worry about the long drive home.. well its a bit harder after 2 days of riding and two nights of drinking.. I'm getting old..

OK. We can keep in touch on this. Last year was very cold at night, but the weather was perfect!

OK guys we are going to hotel it this time. Took the sleeping bags out of the camper to wash and my two pits decided they looked good for a tug-o-war while I was at work.:mad: Planning a good hard ride on Sunday only. Be down Sat evening for the festivities.

I'm still planning to come but i need to get my pipe re-aligned. Planning to camp again.

I'll be there friday mid day, 1/2 way up the road in the woods.. within 50 feet of the odd ball in the short school bus that is marked "fool bus" on the front and is partially camo'ed with yellow, black and white mudflap girl shape stickers.. yes he is disturbed.. I will have my Jeep wrangler and my small grey/silver pop-up.. a red toyota with a rooftop tent will be near me too.. and of course a cooler of beer will be there somewhere..

How many guys riding with us so far?

Not really sure.. Me, you Ed,, Johns as always a maybe until he actually shows. Joe who has my old 250 may make it. Your bringing someone? And Rob with the 2013-wimpy on here. He's from up near high mtn's hare scramble course. I have a few more maybes and yes's that I don't count till I see them show. I also need to grab a new rear tire this week,, not sure as my s-12 thru knobs bad this time. Even the center ones.

I'm coming down with Jim, and another guy I know on a DRZ might meet us Sun AM and tag along. Should be a good mix, faster guys can rip for awhile and wait at the intersections. I havn't been using the GoPro racing as I didn't want to be distracted but I'll bring it.

If you get in a jam for a pipe I have a brand new spare I can bring for you to use.

Thanks Glenn. I'm going to go my best to get it aligned this weekend. Looks like I have 3 or 4 guys coming down too.

I'll have a helmet cam on-line as usuall soon! The trail is coming together nicely. It will be a great time as always. Plenty of displays and prices. More info possibly tonight?....

I'll plan on making room near the trailer.. set up the easy-up and trying to get a propane firepit from the guys at work.. they use it at the smoke area..

Got my pipe sorted out today. Took some work but it's better than it has been in over a year. I few more things to do and I will be ready to roll Friday. :)

I have my bike 90% there.. its good to go now.. I'd just like to get a new sneaker for the rear.. I have a feeling we may see a little mud..

Hey, thanks, I like the Beta, I like it a lot. I will have at least my bike sitting at my booth and two more on site. You can take a look and a spin. The booth will be in the vendor area so just stop by.

I raced the Ormand Farms HS near Milville yesterday. It was dusty! Wind was getting strong even in the AM though so it was not a real problem. I don't even have to wash the bike! Nice hcam Rick, but I'm afraid it won't look that way for us. Actually I'm wondering what the damage in the woods will be like, right now thats the bullseye of the hurricane. Hope the state doesn't pull the plug like they did to the Meteor run on Sunday. We are going to get our asses kicked.:(

I'm hoping its not too bad and it goes as planned. I have not taken more than a couple days off all year. I have off Friday and Monday. If it wasn't for the storm I could have had Thursday off too.

So how did you all make it thru the storm??

We lost a load of good trail riding when hurricane Juan hit us in 03. We're still cutting dead falls out of the way. Best of luck boys and stay safe.

Nothing has changed for us! The run will go off exactly as planned prior to the storm. Damage was minor and actually rode all 16 of the miles I have yestarday. State and everyone else are a go also.

Hammer was great, sad that so many missed due to not having and some still not having power.. great to put faces with names.. and to drool over some of the new bikes.. I really like the new 4stroke betas.. really thinking about it.. vs rebuilding my ktm.

Hope everyone enjoyed the Hammer Run. Glad to see those who made it and hope those who didn't have things undercontrol now.
