2015 gasgas 450

Anyone have any valuable input regarding this bike? My understanding is that it will be available and is a carberated Yamaha. Thanks.

Considering gas gas bought Husqvarna's 4 stroke engine line I would say it is going to be a gas gas frame with a Husqvarna motor

Correct Brad...it is a carbureted, electric start 450 Yamaha, with an estimated $9500.00 MSRP. I sent out the question to our dealers a few weeks ago, asking whether or not to bring it in, and the overwhelming response was "have you lost your mind?" The good news is, if you really want one, drop a deposit with your GG dealer and have him request a special order. I should be able to get one included on the Jan. container.

As to the Italian designed HSQ engines, GASGAS only purchased 310 and 250 four stroke...and the 125 two stroke formats. As to when we will actually see them in production is anyone's guess at the moment BUT...I would rather wait and know they have the bugs works out, rather than rushing to the assembly line and half ass it. Besides...there are still many other hurdles to jump internally, before the X-Lite engines hit our shores.

Once the"315" arrives...for those who have never experienced the X-Lite performance...you are in for a treat.

The older husky 'big block' four strokes are being used in the new Chinese/Italian SWM's, which are really just reproductions of the recent pre-KTM Huskies.

Nope. Just wanted some feedback on the engine. Thought it would make a nice trail, farm, DS bike. Thanks for the "good" news btw.

The Husky 310 engine is nice.

Had the opportunity to test ride a 2015 300 4stroke(wr250 engine).Wasn't expecting much to be honest but I had an absolute blast on it! What an awesome fun forgiving bike. Two wheel drift into corners , give it a big handful & it growls & barks & wheel stands out the corner smooth & controlled. It always feels stable & planted.
I then got back on my 2014 ec300 ,forgot to 'reset' my throttle respect,& almost sent myself off a drop off on the first corner.
