450FSR option water temp sensor

Greatings from Sweden, new owner here of a -09 450FSR.
Have some questions i hope someone can help me with.

In the instrument you can see the engine temp, if you have the Optional temp sensor. I dont have that, and the instrument shows "---".

So I browsed around and found out that the instrument is a Trail tech vapor.
It says Gasgas on mine, but sure looks the same. Trail tech has different sensors, one for hose, one "contact sensor" and one you screw in the radiator.

Questions:
*Has anyone mounted one of this sensors on there FSR or FSE? and then how?

*Seen that you can mount a fan on the right radiator, do you need it?

*Is there any mods that I should do or any tips of fault I should look after?

*The kickstand is a little bit annoying, I have seen the mod to get rid of the automatic return. But is there any extension plate that fits? its so small.

Thank
Erik

Its dry in Spain I guess.

Yes there is an optional sidestand extender but it comes requiring some modifications.

First you trim it down a bit to size desired, then bore a hole in it. File it out a bit so it matches the foot pretty close. Then you get it welded on and file off the sharp edges.

It's called 5mm sheet ally and usually comes in fairly inconvenient sizes.
