Synergy Seals

I've had an issue with various fork seals having a tight enough press fit in my 48mm forks. I had a pair of SKF that I used the past year by using a little Teflon tape on the outside of the seal. I decided to give the Synergy Seals a try. Installation was a little different but just followed the tips on the video. Pulling out the Teflon strip is a little tricky. Fork action is very good. Just a smooth as the SKF. Looking at the seals ,they are very simple in design. Everything is great so far.

Are these the flex seals or the lipped seals?

A good test for stiction is to see if the fork tube will slide down under its own weight, try it and report back

They are flex seals. Bike is all put together so it will be a while before I can do the test.

Interesting note is I have a Beta with the red Marzocchi 48 with SKF and they did not pass the drop test.

I will vouch for the Synergy seals. They are the only ones that would hold up in the WP's on my KTM and they had the least amount of stiction of any seals I have tried, plus Rob is a great guy.
