aftermarket parts questions-2010 gg 250ec

Guys- I'm looking for a few different parts and have a few questions.I see in the parts crossover list that a kx seat foam will fit. Does anyone know what year kx? Is it the 2 stroke kawi or the 4 stroke kx-f? I want a guts racing seat, and they dont make one for the GG.
-also looking for a normal chain guide, not sure where to get one and how it might mount, because the bolts are on the inside of the swingarm, not the bottom..... Right now I have the spring loaded design.
-For aftermarket gas tanks, is Clarke the only one that makes a tank for my bike?

BRP make a chain guide, but you have to buy their adapter to fit the gasgas swingarm.
As for the rest you will have to wait for someone else to chime in.

Guts does make foam and covers for your bike. 2007-2011 is the same shape, I've ordered their foam and a couple covers before. The KX interchange is for older bikes pre 2007. You can use 1994-1998 KX125 or 250 seat covers on those older seats. BRP and TM chain guides work great, both need the aluminum adapter sold separately. The OEM GasGas bracket found on some of the MC250s will bolt up to a BRP or TM guide too.

Guts does make a seat for your bike. The 2010 and 2011 are the same and I have a Guts Tall seat on my bike right now. It is the best $$$ you will ever spend. That stock seat is worse than chinese water torture. If you want a bad case of monkey butt just keep riding that stock GG seat.:(

2010 300

Put the BRP chain guide on my 10', worth the $. Nice to read the feedback on the GUTS tall seat. I'm 6' 1", probably time to buy one

If you think that 2011 seat was bad try an 07 model seat...:D

Apparently that year GasGas spec'd a foam firmness that fell somewhere between say Oak and Maple.

Yep! I've just fitted a 2010 seat to my 07, and it's sooo plush and luxurious!

Wider too which has really helped with gripping the bike.

GOOD to know about Guts seats! i used one of their seats before and loved it. Think I,m going with the tall /medium firmness seat. I'm afraid the soft will be too much like a couch cushion and I'll never stand up again.

I will say I'm a little disappointed with the mileage I'm getting on the stock tank.how many gallons is the stock tank? I've heard mixed reviews about the clarke tank.....Other than that, love the GG!! felt right at home immediately!
