This is what I did with my ATC-2K helmet camera yesterday.

What setting did you have the camera set on?

The camera was set on its best setting it could be on.

We have that cam too and it does pretty good on the bikes. The wind noise is the only bad issue with it and you will get some video wobble due to vibrations from the bike. Heck even the GoPro camera we have has the wind issue too.
Best bet is to mount it to your helmet:D

Yeah I am building a mount in Metal shop at school right now. It will mount on the side. Will get some more video soon.

I have a ATC-2K and have covered up the mic holes on the underside with a cotton ball and some duct tape. It takes out the most of the wind noise and also the distortion when the two stroke revs get high. Try that to solve the noise issue.
