This is my series of vids of getting my 2011 GasGas EC250R back on the trail. Hope you guys like them and maybe pick up a few tips that will help you with your Gasser.
Here's a pic with it loaded up to go do the shakedown ride. http://www.gasgasrider.org/forum/att...1&d=1680619585 BTW, the last two vids are probably the most exciting ones, lol! https://youtu.be/I2_YZrtqV3c - My first update in 3 and a half years https://youtu.be/BExrqY2vcVc - How I made my BRP submount and Fastway handguards look better https://youtu.be/bsro6fyzXSQ - How I install graphics on new plastics https://youtu.be/zVUAiAEQwq4 - How to headlight lens restoration https://youtu.be/uYacTxqJbqg - New OEM mud flap issues for older Gassers and my fix https://youtu.be/IAqEDb4sRuw - Fitting GPI radiators with Emperor Racing cages https://youtu.be/Qg9aPelqOpQ - Final wiring and Antigravity 801 battery https://youtu.be/_B5lwLHvP88 - First start https://youtu.be/xqktAg8sTuc - Shakedown ride |
Cool Stuff
I watched the first video, thanks for taking the time to make it. You can't beat oem GasGas stuff for maintenance. Wow, you have some great aftermarket stuff,I really like the chain and the rear brake pad cooler!:D

Thanks! I love OEM stuff for the most part and especially so when it's anything that goes in between the engine cases.
I can tell you that those AS3 levers, brake pedal, and shifter are really nice pieces. I'm very happy that I bought them for my bike. Ha! That rear brake cooler I got off Ebay. It was much cheaper than the name brand ones, and there really isn't anything technical about it as long as it fits so, why not try it? |
Cooler is better
If it lowers the temperature a bit, then that has to reduce some brake fade right?

See, ever since I bought Forma Predator boots I brake drag and cook rear brakes. Being double hinged boots they let my toes drop a lot so I don't even realize I'm on the pedal. Yeah, I know I should ride on the balls of my feet but I just can't move my foot back and forth fast enough and those boots are heavy. So, I need all the help I can get with reducing brake heat! |
