Txt 280 pro 07 front rim
 

Hi guys, just bought this bike and turns out the front rim is rotten. It is the morad rim with the deep square dish.
Has anyone replaced their rim with a conventional rim?

The deep square rim sounds like it would be tubeless (the rim band sits inside and seals the square part) but i didn't think the front was tubeless just the back - could be wrong

My 03 250 txt has a normal rim, tube and rimlock on the front so no reason why you cant change the front (I even ran the rear with a tube for a while without issues - actually less issues since the tubeless system actually looses air over time)

could also try asking on one of the trials forums

Cheers Matt, mine definitely is not tubeless, it has a rim lock also.
Awesome I will get one on the way after recovering from everything else I?ve had to spend on it. Bought it off a mate but it has had little to no maintenance and a crap tonne of issues.

Just a FYI for future reference a late model 32h front rim off any late gasser trials bike laced up with the long 257mm spokes.
