Gasgas FSR/EC 450 2009 ECU read and diagnose
 

Hello,

My first post here. First of all sorry for my english if it is not perfect xD

I own a Gasgas EC (or FSR) 450 2009. I am very happy with it.

A week ago I was a starting problem and I was crazy looking for a solution, finally was a break wire witch goes to a relay sensor... So during my checking I learned a lot about the bike and I would like to see the option of read the ECU.

In my case the ECU is a Kokusan Dekin, is the follow:

I realize that it has a 4 wire connector with a yellow cover, I imagine that is the diagnose connector. I attach the picture:

Does anyone knows if I can read the ECU like in older model with a ODB2 adapter to USB?

I saw this adapter (http://www.outletgasgas.com/en/elect...mming-kit.html) but is to much expensive xD

It could be interesting for me with future issues...

It was the dealer plug to connect the harness which allowed different maps. Very expensive and impossible to get now I?d say. It did allow minor diagnostic capabilities.

Ok... so I understand that is not possible or easy diagnose with a simple ODB2 converter to USB... :(
