(sold) 2005 GasGas 280 Pampera
I am advertising my friends 2005 280 GasGas Pampera for sale.
It is an extremely clean, low mile example of a street legal Dual Sport 2-stroke. The bike was purchased 2nd hand from a fellow in upstate NY back in May, 2009. It was shipped to So. Cal. where we changed the trans oil, cleaned the air filter and added fresh gas. It started right up. My friend and I rode it up and down the street and around the block. maybe 1 mile. From there is was placed in her garage under a blanket and it sat for the past 7 years. She would now like to sell it as it never got used. I took the bike home and proceeded to do a complete maintenance update. All fluids have been changed, fork oil, Hyd brakes & clutch. Engine trans oil, etc. Cleaned the linkage and shock. Disassembled the bike down to the frame and motor for a through cleaning. Here is the finished bike. http://i288.photobucket.com/albums/l...pscq6lvtqv.jpg http://i288.photobucket.com/albums/l...psq08jekrm.jpg http://i288.photobucket.com/albums/l...psjuvdliw8.jpg The only defects are some boot rub on the left side frame and some scratches on the swing arm. The handle bars were changed to a tall bend, but the stock bars are included. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have. There are many more detailed pictures available. I could also provide a short video of it starting and running if you like. So the details. Asking price is $3,000. all funds to be "in hand" before the bike is shipped. It is located in Southern California. If you are local, the bike may be reviewed here. I will assist in delivering the bike to a local shipping service if needed. There is no crate or pallet, so that will have to be arranged by the buyer. I can be contacted here in this thread or through a PM. Jeff |

What is hiding in the pool shed?

That would be a 1980 CR250 Elsinore that I put white plastics on.
Kind of a Mugen clone. Poor thing has to live outside as there is no room in the garage or in my house. There is also a 1990 Aprilia Climber sitting next to the Elsinore. Thanks for asking. |
*BUMP*
The initial interested buyer seems to have changed his mind. I may have to buy it myself, as it is just too nice to let go. :D |
Hello, I'm interested in your Pampera. If you will help me organize the shipping I will pay you the $3000 for the bike. That's the highest price I've seen but it sounds like you have a great bike. Let me know if you are interested. Larry Brown 509 951 0844

Pampera
I sent Larry a PM that the bike was sold... to me...
I mentioned that nhgas had a Pamp that they might sell. Hope ya'all can work something out. The Pampera is great for tight single track at a medium to slow speed. Who ever is going to ride it better weigh more than 130lbs. My friend can "stand" on the kick starter and it just barely goes through the compression. Definitely not an easy bike to start. And they are known to break the frame rails just behind the steering head if ridden too aggressively. Just search "Tammy and Pampera" Cheers, Jeff |
