GG EC250 2001 WP 43mm Fork Pinch Bolts
 

Hi all,

I've owned my 2001 EC250 for almost 3 years now after picking her up for ?600. Other than some basic maintence, she's wanted for nothing. I'm now planning to reward her with a much deserved overhaul. Starting with the forks...

I finally managed to get the 10 pinch bolts out (4 of them were in there good and proper and needed persuading with a torque bit and a hammer!).

I've researched online and now been into my local bike store and two metal fastener/hardware shops looking for replacement pinch bolts. They are in between an M7 and an M8 but nobody has any for me.

Does anyone know where I can get some from please? I can't be the first person needing some as I've seen lots of people also struggle to get them out.

Can't help on replacement bolts but make sure to put some anti-sieze on them when you install them.
