Dual Map wires

I have a 2005 EC200 with the 2K2 ignition and I think these wires are for the dual map. Right now it is in low and unplugged is high. Am I correct?

Yes pluggged in is LOW. unplugged is HI.

Plugged in should be "sunshine " mode ( timing advanced).
Unplugged is the "rain" mode.

My bike was pinging this past weekend with the 40F weather.
I unplugged the wires and the pinging went away.

Correct me if I'm wrong, I've been confused a dew times.:D
