its probably just me but I don't know what the difference bikes are, I mean the letters and what they signify.
i get the year and the cc [im brilliant!] and i think the 'e' after means electric start
but the xc is the unknown

Don't understand "XC is used on all new bikes".

I have an EC300 2013 factory replica.

The preferred designation in the US has been XC since about 2012, when spare graphics that said XC were shipped with the bikes. It seems the rest of the world gets EC designated motorcycles.

A little trivia question (to which I don't know the answer) - if XC stands for Cross Country, what does EC stand for?
