2008 Husqvarna CR165 / WB165 (Michigan) - SOLD

SOLD..SOLD..SOLD..SOLD..
2008 Husqvarna CR165 / WB 165

This has been my favorite singletrack / woods bike. Unfortunately, my family responsibilities have kept me from riding it. This bike is fully dialed-in and ready to ride / race. It needs nothing in my opinion except a rider looking for a great bike to enjoy.

I purchased the bike in December 2009. The bike will be sold with the items listed below. Bike has been well maintained and runs excellent. I always keep a maintenance log that documents my bike work, settings, etc, since I have owned it. This will be provided to the next owner.

The bike has the following items:
* Michigan title (clear with no liens)
* 165cc, 2-stroke engine. Developed by Walt from CafeHusky.com (often referred to as WB165).
* Mileage = 1229 miles.
* Hour Meter. 75 hours on bike. 25 hours on 165cc top end.
* 165cc Cylinder + Modified head (squish band). Set for premium unleaded fuel (93 Octane).
* Suspension springs: Rear spring rate = 5.4; Front spring rate = 0.38. Set for 170 lb rider.
* Billet aluminum case saver/front sprocket guard. Custom designed and fabricated.
* Keihin PWK 38mm with JD Jetting kit.
* Carb Modifications by RB Designs: Includes divider plate, low circuit mods, and adjuster screw.
* 7oz. flywheel weight + custom spacer for side cover (2mm offset).
* FMF Fatty Exhaust Pipe (KTM 200SX). Custom fitted for Husky engine.

Beautiful bike, I'm sorry you're letting it go. Where in Temperance are you? I'm inn Silo Meadows off Stearns and Douglas.

Beautiful machine!

We've got a bunch of NW guys who ride these bikes and swear by them for tight woods. I'd love to try one.

Great looking bike.

Thanks for the kind comments guys. Yes, it is a fantastic bike and I hate to see it go. Hopefully, another rider will fall in love with it as much as me. There is a bunch of us on CafeHusky that ride the 165's thanks to Walt.

Pass the word along if you have a friend looking for bike fully set up and ready to go.

Darren,

I'm not too far from you. Nice to see another local on this forum. I'm near the Erie and Jackman area.

You should take a moment and update your user profile with your location and bike info.

Thanks for checking in.

Matt

I just noticed your red marking on most of your bolts......that is a good idea!:)

Also noticed the quick access flat blade screwdriver for carb or fork adjustments. Brilliant.

The knob for the carb adjustment is brass, knurled so it is easy to make "on the fly" adjustments, that is a RD Designs mod carb. My 38mmTMX has the same knob / adjustment screw.

Rick, you are correct on the carb air screw adjustment since I had RB Designs modify my carb.

Firffighter, you noticed my ultra-stealth small screw driver zip-tied to my subframe. It works great on standard carbs without the RB Design adjuster screw and front/rear suspension clickers. The rear shock can be tricky but still accessible to turn the rebound adjuster screw. It also is good for bleeding the fork screws if you don't have the quick-bleeder valves.

Moto7man, I always paint mark my bolts/nuts. It provides a quick visual to see if any has loosened. Plus, when I disassemble and re-torque the bolts/nuts, typically my torque wrench is clicking off very close to the previous mark as a double-check for me.
