What is the best auto clutch for a 99 EC300?
Thoughts and recommendations?
Don't want to spend a lot of money on it since bike is pretty old. Thanks fellas. |
Rekluse Core EXP

I am curious about this as well. I am setting up a 01' 200 for my wife and I need to find an auto clutch that doesn't brake the bank. She wants left hand rear brake and no clutch handle.

You guys dont have but one choice when it come to an auto clutch.

Well, after watching a youtube video I installed a Rekluse EXP for a CRF450 in my wife's 2001 200XC. I followed the video's instructions and the clutch works perfectly. The clutch handle even works!

Since this thread has been revived, there isn't only one option. You have three, the Rekluse Core EXP, doing the mod like Lincolnlock posted, or getting one through EFM (http://www.efmautoclutch.com/).
Rekluse Core EXP $899 EFM $695 Doing the mod using the Rekluse EXP 3.0 for a Honda CRF450R $399 |
Rekluse offers 2 different versions of the EXP for the CRF450R. years 02-08 and years 09-12. Lincolnlock, which one did you use? I'm debating about trying one in my 05 EC250 and being $500 less than the core EXP is quite appealing, considering that I don't know if I'll like an autoclutch.

You will want the 02-08 one. That is the same clutch as the cr250's

I'm not sure but I believe the only thing the cr and gasgas have in common is the plates and maybe the pressure plate. The basket is different
