I can't recommend one in your area, but check the links at the home page http://www.gasgasrider.org/

or the dealer list at www.gas-gas.net

I'm sure you will find most very helpful.

Thanks eff - just want to add a note that I only listed links on the gasgasrider.org "links page" that have active websites. For a complete list, you need to look on the corporate site at http://www.gas-gas.net.

I will be helping a couple smaller dealers to get websites up in the coming weeks to help them get a little exposure too... (If any gasgas dealer would like help in getting a basic website up with contact info, etc. Please contact me at webmaster@gasgasrider.org.)

thanks,
jeff

I just wanted to comment that this site is vendor and dealer neutral, and given that I also maintain this site - I need to take the middle ground. But, given that this site belongs to entire community versus a single dealer, it enables others to recommend anyone without fear of stepping the hosts toes...

Given that I will pass along what I know and encourage others to share their experiences with other dealers around the usa.

I think that everyone should primarily support their local dealer - but secondarily, everyone wants to have a "backstop' - a dealer like smackover was (before closing up shop). A dealer they can get things from quickly when the local dealer doesn't have that item in stock.

I am learning more about dealers in the U.S. as I write up profiles on their dealerships. From what I know so far - North Tahoe Motorsports in the west & gofasters and hall's in the mid-west have very large parts stocks and can be counted on to deliver hard to find parts quickly. Also, Glenn has told me that Town & Country Cycle in the Northeast supports him well.

Is there anyone else who fits the bill as "backstop" dealer? (one who stocks alot of stuff.)

Also, another thing that crosses my mind is the number of gasgas riders from australia and new zealand growing in number. I'll start a seperate thread on this topic.

thanks,
jeff

p.s. I'll be on here as both jeffd - me when I have my civilian clothes on - and webmaster when it deals with board issues... Might seem like a double personality disorder - but when I am posting and it is not relative to the board and I need to express my personal opinion - I would prefer it this way...
