I've got myself convinced I need a dual sport. I want to put a plate on a bike so I can ride (legally) in areas I was riding illegally before. The cops are cracking down and I'm too old to out run them anymore.

Please please please sell me that pipe guard.

Um,, what DS are you looking at?

My brother had that plan too and in the end the 450F went down the road and the 250 2 stroke stayed. Plus, here illegal is illegal no matter what you ride so you might as well ride what you can ride the fastest. :D

A big DS will feel like a bus compared to that GG.

Well if your just looking for real street legal vs not so much a real dual sport you could do a new Beta RS 450/520 or the all new Husky 310 with FI or the big Berg 570 (sweet motor). All these are fully legal and way more dirt bike than dual sport if that's what you are really looking for.
