EC200 fork cap
 

Looking for a new (or used) fork cap for 2000 EC200 with the WP43 forks. Previous owner stripped the hex on top and I've upped the ante by breaking the rebound adjuster knob. It's off now but pretty beat up and I can't locate a replacement. Thanks in advance!

thats what happens when you forget to loosen the top triple clamp bolts - fork cap is usually just snugger than finger tight.
If you know a freindly machinist they can probably make up a new rebound adjuster - it was a common issue with the sachs forks

Yeah, I loosened the top clamp. Even tapped a screwdriver in to spread the clamp to be sure there wasn't any pressure on the tube but the Hulk must have the last guy to work on it. Only way I got it out was with a round punch inside the bleeder hole.
