ec 50 boy no spark
 

I just got my son a ec 50 boy and it has no spark. I have tested the basics, as in kill switch and a new spark plug , I have also visually inspected all the wires for chafe or rub marks along with ohm testing. All appears good. Is there a way to test the stator and coil on these ? I see parts are hard to come by for this bike and that makes it hard to just start throwing parts at it.
