Castor based oils
 

Anyone running there 2 stroke gasser on pre mix castor based oil like castrol R?

i ran maxima 927 a few times. i had no issues..

no problem with the maxima 927 just a little drip on the silencer @ 2%,nice and clean @ 1.5%. rich smell.

Try mixing Castor 927 with a 50/50 MIX of VP4.2 and pump gas......sweet...:D
I am running it @ 45:1 and have had not top end issues after ~1,500 miles.
I run it in my EC250SM on the street.

Do you have to re jet carb if switching from synthetic to castor based, manual says 2% if syn...or 2.5% if castor (petrol/oil mix)
