Enduro training/riding

I'm planning on some enduro training/riding, somewhere warm for Christmas 2014 for my 50th. Any recommendations? Must supply bike and basically the easier it is to book the better! Any where in the world, as I'm just looking at Spain, Portugal and canaries at the minute but think somewhere further a field would be fun!!! and warm:D

Roof of Africa 3rd December???

Alfie Cox does a package (but it is on a pumpkin). Had a German friend come out and do it two years ago and he loved it.

I recently read this review on Visordown: http://www.visordown.com/features/fu...iew/23721.html

Quick write-up about the author's experience riding with Trailworld in Spain; it sounds like a great time and something I definitely want to try and do.

Have a great time wherever you end up; I think celebrating with a dirt ride sounds like one of the best ideas out there

Wanna come over Australia?

Mate owns the business. You'd have to ride a DRZ, although I just purchases a new gasser... might have a spare. Haha! Shit hot and humid weather! I wouldn't come here if I had the rest of the world as options though..

Absolutely not relevant to your request ... but related ... and in the spirit of sharing with the GG fraternity ...

I'm signed-up for a training session with Chris Birch June 28, 2014! Woohoo!

The best training is to ride more, and practice, practice, and practice....

No matter what someone will lecture you on your riding, it's the practicing that counts. People basically use the same general Technics but will tweak ones to make it work better for you. If your tall a certain technique might work better then if your short.

Again ride as much as you can, ride every other day if you can. I know that is hard for working stuffs, but again practicing is what makes you a better rider.

I strongly recommend a trials bike, that will help with certain skills.

Good luck, and have fun...

Modette it's more of just a blat on a bike in the warm for my 50th.
Jackobi it's a bit far/expensive for a week!
JP4 go for it!
Garytee Egypt is looking very promising. Amazing write ups on Trip advisor!!

Let us know how it goes!

No telling what is going to be the situation in Egypt in a years time, bit touch and go at the moment!

Lesotho is surrounded by South Africa so you do the roof and the choose between safari, beach or Cape Town. And the roof has three classes now bronze for decent riders, silver for good v fit riders and gold for ... well those riders we wish we were.

I like your planning though maybe I should start planning a similar trip :)
