Ohlins shock ec250 2012
 

I have a ec250 2012 with Sachs rear shock and I have Ohlins rxf48 fork. I want to switch the rear stock to an Ohlins shock but wich model fits? I tried to use my Ohlins shock from my ec300 2015 but it did not fit.

How did it not fit?

The Sachs had 7cm from the lower bolt to the bowl for the spring and the Ohlin had only 5.5cm and that wasnt enough for it so it does not get the space it needs for the bowl. And if I search for ttx44 the answer is ec250/ec300 13-14 what about 2012?

It should fit mate..

It may touch the linkage with the swingarm hanging down lower than it would in use. Did you bolt it all up and see if it came together?

I just don't see GG revising a shock from 12 to 13, before going to the purple Reiger shock in 15.

There was 2 models in 2012 in Aus..I think the ec300r had a different shock to the ec300e model. (I think it was called the e.) I had the ec300r (race) model and it had the ohlins 888 like Jakobi said.. Is it possible that they had different linkages??

I think we had a single model for 12 here.. It had the 888 and the Marzocchis if I remember correctly, and a magic button, and a plastic subframe.

I think 13 rolled with the 2 models, race with alloy sub and kick only, or e start with plastic sub and a magic button... maybe different shocks? Can't recall. I know the 13 Racing model uses a different frame to the 12-13E.. and a different linkage connecting rod to mount to the frame. The actual knuckle and clevis mount was the same across them I thought.

Hi! Can anyone recomend where to look for TTX44 bottom bearing? Couldnt find any part diagrams, also GasGas does not show it seperately in their diagrams. Oh, bike is 2013 EC300 2t
