New Gas Gas rider
1 Attachment(s)
Hi all! New to the community, and discovering almost by accident what a treasure a Gas Gas is. :)
I've been going out riding with a buddy of mine, he had a bike and a quad and I didn't. I discovered that I really enjoyed this, enough to decide to get a bike of my own. A craigslist ad led me to discover Gas Gas, a 2005 MC250 that had never been sold or registered, or even ridden more than around a parking lot. Now I'm the proud owner of a bike that seems to be more amazing the more I learn about it. I'll be around here, occasionally seeking advice, and I think the honeymoon will be a delightful one. :) |
Krikes! That thing is beautiful!
Way to go. Excellent score. You're gonna' love it. Congratulations. blitz p.s. You won't find a better bunch of people than those here on this forum. This is a top-notch group. I've learned a ton from posters here. |
Well done, so now get out there and give us a ride report :)
Enjoy your new ride mate Cheers |
Very nice! Enjoy your new ride and welcome to the GasGas community.

Wow, where did you find that? Here in the US of A? What year is the bike also and jeez those big forks are sweet. Excellent score!!
FWI...I have a brand new E-line carbon fiber pipe guard that will probably fit that pipe. $75 and it's yours. PM me if interested. |
It came from a little bike shop in Adelanto, CA. The owner had picked up five of them from a Gas Gas dealership that went out of business. Four ended up being sold to his family members, and I got the last for $2500 plus tax and DMV fees.
It's a 2005. That guy is working on becoming a Gas Gas dealer, so I'll have a third dealer in fairly easy range for me. :). He loves Gas Gas, it's what he rides with his family. |
That's an awesome score. Good find.
Where do you guys ride? Try and get some pics up if you can. :D |
$2,500...Unreal deal:eek:
Enjoy, enjoy, enjoy;) Let me know about the pipe guard. |
Nice!!! Enjoy!

Thanks, all. We'll be riding at Stoddard Wells near Barstow, and we'll work on getting a few shots.
skidad, I'll let you know soon if I'd like that, thanks! I'm pretty excited about taking this thing out for its first run, but it actually hasn't even been broken in, so I'll be taking it easy that first day while I observe the break-in procedure in the manual. And, while I get used to this beast! It's a powerful monster! |
