Boyesen Flex-Grip

Has anyone tried the Flex-grip or the Shokout grip system?

My wrists are completely shot. I already have the Flex Bars and I need a little bit more shock resistance to may riding a bit more tolerable.

Thanks

I've used this system since it 1st came out, enough years ago that I can't recall when it was, I just keep moving it from bike to bike. it takes a little getting used to, but I really like it. it cuts down on blisters on the left hand & shock to the left wrist, by a considerable amount.

the site seems to imply that it is only the left hand that is helped? Unfortunately I have right hand also, my gosh, am I deformed?

I think it would be kinda hard to make the right one flex like the left and still work

your right hand gets lots of movement due to the throttle's being on that side. the left hand, with the grip glued solidly to the bar, gets a beating. the flex-grip (or whatever they call it now) lets your left hand move front to back as if it had a throttle tube too, with the movement adjustable by using different elastomers. I bought it to cut down on blisters on that side, & it works great for that. No benefit to the right hand.

I wrap elastic bandages around both wrists when I ride. My wrists thank me every ride. No more soreness or pain.

More compliant suspension.

I'm liking the Flexxbars. Rode three days in a row, 40 to 60 miles a day. Even with the firm Zoke 48s that were brand new my hands felt fresh.
