Nissin Brake Pad Part Numbers 2011
I know that the Gassers cross over with the 87 to 2001 Honda CRs but does anyone know what the Nissin Part Numbers are for the front and rear brake pads for the GasGas 2000 to 2011s?
I checked the Nissin site but it links you to the retail dealer and doesn't list part numbers. |
This is what I have found so far. Here is a list of multiple mfg's part numbers from the Ferodo Racing page.
COMPETITOR XREF BREMBO 07KA1705 CL BRAKES 2300 EBC FA185 GALFER FD 164 LUCAS MCB669 NEWFREN .FD.0193 SBS 694 VESRAH VD 161 The Ferodo part number is FDB892, then add SG or other desination below for pad material type. See below. AG: Argento P: Platinum ST: SinterGrip Road PRP: Polished Rotor Pads SG: SinterGrip Off-Road CP1: Competition XRAC: Array Cooling XR http://www.ferodoracing.com/catalogu...ds&code=FDB892 |
This might help.
http://www.aussiebiker.com.au/catalog.php Note the 2011 Gasser rear caliper is different to previous years. Slimmer design. I have a 2004 and 2005 WR250F/450F and they all use the same pads front and rear. Think the old DR350 might have used the same too. |
The 2010 Suzuki RM-Z 450 uses the same brakes front and rear as the 2010-2013 Gassers. Order OEM from Suzuki to get the Nissin pads if you prefer those over aftermarket.

Long Wearing OEM Front Brake Pads
I finally bought a set of Galfer front brake pads for my 2011. I thought that my oem front pads must be getting worn. After removing the front oem pads I gave them a quick inspection. After comparing the remaining oem pad material to the Galfers, I realized that the oem Nissin pads had 70% of the pad material remaining. So, I cleaned them up and reinstalled the oem pads. My gasser must have 100 plus hours and I use the front brake a lot, so I was surprised that the oem Nissin pads have lasted so long. Is this typical for everyone?

Not sure about original pads, but my after-market fronts have done around 250 (Very, muddy, wet and gritty miles) and are approx 1/2 worn !
