I have to admit....its nice!

Yeah, I got to admit its nice to have a national distributor interested in furthering the GasGas brand and for us to have direct access to him via this great website. It may have been that way with Smackover/Knight but that was before my GasGas time.

Thank you, Clay!

Hey Alan,
Come get your dirtbike. I'm sick/jealous of looking at it with a sold sign...I just put the bark busters on it...it's good to go!

I will be down tomorrow afternoon and pick it up. Did you cut down the handlebars to 29"????

Holy cow...29 inches? You planning on going thru some tight AL pines or what? :D

Anxious to hear how you like your new ride Alan!

Ha Ha! I cut mine down to 29" also.Thats only about an inch off each side.
By the time the bark busters are installed they are nearly the overall width they originally were before you cut them down.

It always bugs me when I'm about to do it. It seems to always make it difficult to fit everything. The hand guard clamps become a pain to fit on the tapered bars. There is less room. the front brake hose is slid left which in turn makes the cable stick up more etc. Just when you think you have seen every scenario something new gets added to the mix. This year for me it looks as if it will be the e start 'n kill switch combo. Not sure what else I'll run into yet.

30" was as narrow as the twinwalls would go. I had to move the light switch to the throttle side. I'll get to the shop in the morning and safety wire the grips - I just plain forgot to do it.

And yes, it is awesome to have a guy like Clay who is passionate about the sport as all of us bringing these great motorcycles in the country for us!

Bars

I had my KDX bars really narrow- just under 29", I think.
When I has Flexx bars put on, They could not cut them down; Something about the bars and the guards- the design of the Flexx bars make cutting them down any shorter near impossible because of where the inboard guard mount mounts to the bar.
I noticed the extra width, but I do like the Flexx bars.
