Hancock Quarry Run

Did the Saturday ride. What an awesome event, 90 ground miles mostly great trail worthy of any enduro. Best one yet and I've been going for years. This is a ride for the serious woods rider not the casual dual sporter, no major stoppers but long sections and challenging hills. Big climbs, decents, single track, grass track, rocks, everything! Even started to get some confidence and speed back at the end of the day. Major fun, plan for it next year!

I ran a new Mitas, my brother a Dunlop, and my buddy a half worn Mitas. The tires ruled on those trails. The only downside was tracking and holding a line in some of the muddy sections, but if you exercised throttle control it was managable. In some of the real deep sloppy ruts it worked no worse than a knobby.

The quality and amount of trail was amazing, and today is supposed to be the same.
