2002 XC125 Front Sprocket Crossover?
 

Good afternoon all,

I recently purchased a 2002 XC125 and it is in need of a new chain and sprockets.

I have located several options for the rear sprocket and settled on JT part number JTR822.52

However for the front, the listings I have found all show 2003 or newer.

Does anyone know if the front sprockets for the 2003 will work on a 2002? I have also read that the yamaha yz125 sprockets will also work.

Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

Both front and rear sprockets have been the same since 1987.
Except for the bikes that have the Yamaha engine.

Out of curiosity, which years / models had the Yamaha engines?

Starting in 2010, the 250cc 4T had the Yamaha engine.
2012 250cc, 300cc, 450cc 4T also had the Yamaha engines.
