Moab/Green River Utah!

I just got home from an awesome trip to Moab and Green River. I live in Ogden, about 4 hours from the Moab area but don't make it down there as often as I would like.
This trip included three friends from Seattle area, (two off-road/enduro prepped YZ250's and a Berg 300)and myself. Due to getting a late start each day, because of staying up way to late and drinking way too much, we wound up riding a little over 160 miles in the 3.5 days we were there.
We spent the first day riding the traditional Moab trails in the sand flats area. Hells Revenge, Fins and Things, and Slickrock trail.
The second day we went to Green River and rode Brian's trail/Mary's trail/Enduro loop/Red Rim trail/Dead Cow and The Tubes. As well as a little playing in the White Wash dunes.
Day three we were back in Moab and rode Moab Rim trail, then Kane Creek. We were going to connect to Pritchett canyon for the return but we ran out of light and one of our guys didn't have any lighting so we rode Kane Creek back.
Day four we were headed home but stopped on the way out of town and rode the Sovereign trail system. It's been about 8 years since I had ridden Sovereign and had forgotten how much fun those trails are.

Sounds like a fantastic trip!!! I recognize Hell's Gate  We leave next tuesday for Moab, staying at Archview, right next to Sovereign, my fav trail system in the area. We will pick up Kane Creek again, and Whitewash Sand Dunes as well. Maybe Dead Cow and the Tubes, another fav. Your pictures got me pumped up, thanks!

BTW I like the way u used the etrack to tie your bikes down. I just switched from etrack to the Pit Posse Bike Shoe (chock), put 6 of them in my trailer, so far so good, just roll it in and lock the front wheel, and walk away...very quick...we will see how they work out in the long term.

Sweet! Be sure to post up some pics! I love it out there. Every time I leave I'm trying to think of a way I can live there. Then I remember it's a society of gypsies and hippies and wanderers and I have kids to raise.... oh well.

Looking forward to a review on the bike shoes! Have a great trip!

Thanks for posting. Looks like you guys had great trip. I was out there on my street bike a couple years ago, but never with a dirt bike or mtn bike.

Totally different than anything we have here in the east!

I think the Wife and I will visit (for the first time) next year. We prefer a bit warm instead of a bit cold. We are thinking late Sept or early Oct ?

That's usually a perfect time of year. It ranged from high 60's to high 70's for us last week.
