All Jacked Up Switch Hauler
I have always wanted to park my crewcab truck in the garage with my bike loaded on the dual rail carrier but the it was just too long to fit. Also, the dual carrier had ground clearance problems and it weighed a TON. I got tired of lugging my dual rail carrier out of the garage and I decided to buy this carrier. its very over built and rugged. It is a little pricey but you get what you pay for in the beginning.
Here is the company assembly video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rrlMCQxHVCY https://i.imgur.com/KX4Dw8zl.jpg https://i.imgur.com/M2ExvAsl.jpg https://i.imgur.com/eqbiVcyl.jpg The instructions were very straight forward and the assembly was easy. I got the optional foot rest which stabilizes everything when placing the bike on the carrier. https://i.imgur.com/E9rGsNBl.jpg https://i.imgur.com/zVvTUzul.jpg Here is the gasser loaded in the down position with the foot extended. https://i.imgur.com/2K8R7Bjl.jpg This is the "up" position, no more ground clearance problems. https://i.imgur.com/r4Pkq4Il.jpg One of the two footpeg clamps. https://i.imgur.com/HKjbP64l.jpg other side https://i.imgur.com/y8ak3lAl.jpg |
Great review.
I had one about 10 years ago. Got rid of it. This one is way nicer, especially the foot peg mounts. |

The weak point of the system is now the stock GG footpegs. They have been known to break.

Nice ! Thanks for posting.
I had an internet dirt bike friend stay with us here in the WNC mtns. He brought two bikes with him using the trailer hitch method (Nothing as nice as your new setup) He had a hitch receiver mounted on the front of his truck and carried one bike on the front and one on the rear. RB |
