Wanted 2010-2011 FMF silencer
 

By the looks of it I need a silencer for my transformation kit:(. Let me know if anyone has an FMF with spark arrestor for the 07'-11' bikes in nice shape.

Well, the new silencer came (2011 FMF TC2). On my 2000 it's no where close to fitting with the 07-11 subframe. It sits out from the subframe mounts by about 1.25"or so. The OE FMF TC2 fits much closer to what is needed just at too steep of an angle. Now I'll just cut, weld and tweek the oe one to fit I guess. It would take more fab work to fit the 2011 silencer than the 2000 on my bike with the Gnarly pipe.

Maybe with a 2011 FMF pipe and silencer combo, you could get closer to what you need. Never seen a 2000 but I cannot imagine the mounts being too different. Also, with a few different mounts from GasGas you only need to be 3-4 inches from being right on.

The GG mounts you speak of are the pipe or silencer mounts??

Pipe there are a few different options. Now suspension or frame may cause issues but like I say I have never seen a 2000

I forgot to mention that the pipe and silencer of different eras 2000 and 2007 and newer are a different diameter.

Actually, the 07-11 FMF silencer slip fit was very nice with my 00 FMF pipe. The silencer was just not pointed in the correct spot. I wish some of my friends had GG to try fitting their parts.
