EC 300 Jetting

I am from Red Deer, Alberta and I just bought a 2011 EC 300 (my first Gas Gas). I do most of my riding in Nordegg, as well as some trips to the Mclean creek area. I have tried a few different combinations with the needle and main jet. Any tips for finding the right combination?

Casey , youre gonna have to find out some things about your carb to make sure your'e comparing apples to apples.

They come with 36 & 38 MM Carbs And seems to be several different slides they come with as well .

My 300 has a 36mm carb with a 6.5 notched slide ,A friend of mine came with a 38mm not sure what slide he had.

would be nice if there was a sticky thread for each carb so we could talk to people who have the same items when were trying to zero in on the jetting.

Stock YZ needles are N3EW/N3EJ depending on the year. People with both the 250s and 300s have been having some good results with the N3 range of needles in general. Good luck with it all
