finally got to ride it
went on my first official ride today, went to the Desoto National Forrest riding area, hooked up some guys from Baton Rouge and rode 14 mile single track trail. The GASGAS performed and ran flawless, everyone was impressed with it and many guys talking about selling their KTM's and buying a GASGAS. Didn't get many pics this time, still stoked I didn't have any issues with bike and managed not to crash lol..

Nice looking bike. Do those Ohlins bolt right up to our oem triples? Mine is a '03 ec250.

Yeah, and they even differ Ohlins to Ohlins. If you look at my conversion thread I took a 2003 MC250 that had a Ohlins factory option front end on it and an EC250 that also had an Ohlins option front end. However, the forks turned out to be different, the EC had 46mm Ohlins and the MC had 48mm Ohlins. The axle was also different. I called Ohlins USA both of the fork part codes indicated they were sold to Gas Gas for use as an "OEM" fork. Mark at GoFasters was a little befuddled by this as well.

Went back to same trails today and made a novice mistake, well two mistakes. First mistake cranked bike with exhaust plug still in and fouled the spark plug. Second mistake was leaving replacement spark plug at home.
