Rieju jetting

Hello guys , I've just purchased a rieju 300 2021 model , we all know it's a gasgas in disguise , what jetting & needle would you guys recommend as a base line ? I'm based in UK , ride about 500m above sea level & average temperature between 8-12 degrees at the moment

I looked at the manual on line for rieju 300 - unless your importer swaps it out - it will come with a n1ef needle. So you will want to replace that before you ride it. Some use suzuki needle or yamaha needle with very good results. Look for posts from "jakobi" as he is the jetting expert here.

With the n1ef - you don't even want to waste any time trying it out.. You will end up way lean on your pilot and have your idle cranked up.

With a "good needle" in it - it will idle well and start well.

In the shed I've got 2 Suzuki needles (necj & nech). Are either of these any good? also purchased the JD Jetting kit .

Jakobi mentioned the nedj suzuki needle above.

Here is a post that describes differences between the various options...

(looks like JD red might be a good option ?)

necj is one step leaner than nedj so should be a good option if you are looking for nice smooth power delivery
