I really like the look of the Ranger. It's a very clean look. It could maybe use a few more red accents/logos on the fenders but that's about it.

I love the white. I'm sure aftermarket plastics will be available soon for color.

Better suspended than the xtrainer. This will be a great seller.

Mark andRod, thank you for all you do.

Damn you GG! Sucking me back in! I would take a 250 ECR for the fun technical riding we have in the New England area. We shall see what happens in the next few months.

Interesting (and Smart) that they are making it in both the 250 and 300.

I don’t want to start a riot, but I noticed that it doesn’t have kick starter. It looks like there is a plug where it should be so hopefully it can be added later.Attachment 7674

And now it is 200 and 300.

I would rock a 200 ECR in New England.

I wonder if the non ranger EC 200 pipe would fit on it. I believe many people with XTrainer change to the 300RR pipe. Wake it up little. They also need to upgrade their suspension. The GG Ranger could be a better starting point if they can deliver this ECR.

So what it doesn't have a kick starter. Who cares. You could carry something like this in your pack: this https://www.batterystuff.com/emergen...r-ag-xp-3.html

Or roll start it. Or put a running bike tire to the dead bike. It should not take much to start it. I'm not worried. My car doesn't have a hand crank anymore...

It would be good to know the details of the electrical and starter upgrades and wether or not they can be adapted to the 18 model for more reliability.

IF you have done the recall cable upgrade on the 18's it should be perfectly reliable. I have yet to hear of someone who did the recall and still had any problems. This isn't a problem. They work perfectly every time.
I'd add to say that NEVER have I ever seen a company stand behind their bikes like this GasGas/Torrot partnership has. Even my dealer has been blown away. His comment is that they are second to none right now with service. And he deals with a bunch of Euro brands.

I have the updated positive to solenoid and additional negative cable. I paid extra for the 220cca battery. The situation has improved significantly but it still get the turnover without firing issue intermittently and sometimes the click and not turnover on initial press of the start button.
