2012 EC300 ?hlins STX shock fit on 2008 EC200?

Hi guys,
Tried searching but could not find the answer.

Does anybody know if a shock from a 2012 EC300 Racing/Nordic Edition, an Ohlins STX 46, will fit a 2008 EC200 that had a Sachs?

I blew up my gas chamber when running too much oil and can't find parts, and was offered a good deal on this used shock.

Any info?

07-11 are the same different after 12 they changed the frame
