first time ec250 owner suspension questions

Hi everyone I just bought a 97 ec250. It is in great shape and I love the way it runs and feels. My question is: has anyone ever seen a complete 95 kx 250 complete frontend swap on the etc 250? When I got this bike none of the frontend parts looked like any of the pics of the ec250s of this year. After doing some research I've found that my bike has 46mm kyb forks, nissin brakes a kawi front wheel and kawi triple clamps.. It works great. I was just wondering if anyone had seen this before.

Most do a swap with the KYB SSS from the yama's. But even the KYB from a kawa is a step up from the 45mm conventional Marzoochis it came with. Although they did perform well they had knack for going thru seals quite fast. The oil would get dirty real fast from internal wear.

Great find, the 97' motor is a sweet heart, the counter balancer makes it feel like an electric tractor. I have a 97' I will never part with.

Yeah I love it so far but I think it needs some jetting work. The power is pretty smooth and soft at low rpm with a huge rip in the middle thru the top. Its very strong but I'm gonna try some jetting combos to try to smooth out the huge hit it has but it may just be the way this engine is and I just need to get used to it. It has a messico pipe and a turbine core 2 along with a billet power valve cover.

Very clean looking 97'. I like the Suzuki RMZ front fender.
