it was my first ride since i installed the rekluse and had my suspension worked and the terrain there was a good test for both!!

They let you practice the course. How cool is that.

yes, tccra has big bike practice usually from 9 am till dusk the Saturday before the race. unfortunately it never seems to do me a lot of good! lol :(

I was invited to ride their Saturdays practice, I should have went, looks like fun course. I noticed your run @ Draper, are you from OKC?

yea the course was pretty cool. it was really good for riding but not so much for racing. the course markers were really hard to see and a lot of racers were struggling with finding their way around the track. i think i spent more time turning around and looking for markers than i did riding.

i ride at draper a lot, actually went there yesterday and rode the black trail. there are several of us from duncan that ride there regularly.

That was my first race aboard my 2011 ec300. It was sure much easier to do the climbs on a 300 vs. my KTM 200. I wish i would have met up with you there, are going to do any of the other TCCRA races?

It was very hot on race day, many, many DNF's.

yea, that track was brutal, i ended up just practicing on saturday.
im planning on doing a few more texas races after the season starts back up, we will have to meet up.

how are you liking the gas gas?

I love the thing. It took me a few rides to get it but now I am going faster than ever. I find it much more comfortable to stand on and the power is great. At first was I wasn't sure if I was faster on it than my KTM 200xc, but now there are no doubts. Putting a 50 tooth sprocket on the rear helped me as has learning to ride in a higher gear.
