airbox door: 2001 v. 2005?
 

Hi Folks,

I've been missing here for a while. Lots of stuff going on, most of it good.:rolleyes:

I'm going to shoehorn some 2005 plastic onto my 2001 xc300. If I did my search right, it should work out OK. Out with the stealth black, in with blue (white number plates).

Anyway, I am unable to confirm if the 2001 airbox door is the same as a 2005 airbox door. (There's a pricing error on one of them on GF site). Does anybody know if they are the same part number? Thanks!

no.. they are not the same.. i found a used one when i put those plastics on my 01.. it is close, but the lip that connects the air box door to the rear plate is different. here is mine with new door
