He does get support from KTM at Erzberg and LMS. I've been trying to get him on mine for over a year now. He is not the fastest rider around but he loves riding the toughest stuff. He is a real great guy!

Claddo Marty is just plain crazy!!!!!!!:D :D

I took a few photos and some video of him play riding.

Somebody really needs to get this guy a Gas Gas deal. He is so personable. It was like he was one of my riding buddies. He was for sure a "Hoot" to be around. Poor guy was bitching about the humidty though.

I will write up a full "The Party" report here in a day or two. Right now I need to shake this hang over! :(

Marty represents what this sport is all about.

A simple conversation in the pits at LMS turned into an invitation by our club for Marty to be a guest speaker at our banquet.

Marty rode my MC 250 yesterday, I honestly did not think that bike would go that fast!
He came around a turn flat tracking in 6th gear wide open.

He did say that he wants to try a Gas Gas....hint,hint CLADOO.:D (MC250 w/ 300 top end)

I've be trying to get him to ride mine for over a year, guess I gotta push a little harder. The problem is KTm gives him a pretty good deal and GG is not that condusive to sponsoring anybody (at the level he needs) it seems.

That just plain sucks! He can take GG there or atleast put the brand in the spot light.

I was kind of sad when we dropped him off today.:( I felt like a good friend of mine just vanished. I know it sounds crazy but man he is such a nice guy.:) I have met many top racers over the years but they just really did not want to be approached if you will. Marty on the other hand was offering bike set up tips, work out regiments, etc. Like I said he was just as friendly as could be and seemed to have a really good time. I will get those photos up here in a day or two.

Cladoo he represented Canada great. This was the most fun I have had in years.

cladoo 02-10-2008 10:34 PM

Great to hear Robby! I am glad you had a great time. I've met a few guys like Marty also and they are rare. I try to be like that also. I had a old journeyman once tell me that when I work with someone I should only remember the good stuff the taught me not the bad.
